Sussex Cricket head trainer Jason Gillespie has agreed a contract extension which will keep him at the club until the 2022 seasons end.
The former Australian fast bowler took over as Sussex head trainer and has led the Sharks to the knockout stages of this Vitality Blast in both of the seasons in charge, including the closing in 2018.
Reacting to the deal, Gillespie said:I am absolutely delighted to extend my time in Sussex. I adore the place and everyone in the club has been fantastic since I joined.
I feel were moving in the ideal direction, which is really pleasing. I can not fault the efforts of most our coaches and players. We are all on the same page; everybody wants whats best for your club, and that I believe in reaching those goals were progressing.
I need to thank the bar for the chance to continue being part of the and for demonstrating faith in me. I am decided to repay that religion by keeping things moving in the ideal direction and hopefully having some success down the track.

There will be a whole great deal of change in cricket over the next few decades and we needed some continuity by means of this age.
